Oct 21 2021 News Chicago ad-tech firm Centro, now named Basis Technologies, to go public Centro, a 20-year-old Chicago advertising-tech company, is preparing for an IPO. The company, now named Basis Technologies, announced Thursday that it has confidentially filed a draft registration statement with the SEC for an initial public offering. The number of shares to be offered, and the price range for the IPO, has not yet been determined, the company said. The IPO is expected to take place once the SEC completes its review process. Founded in 2001 and led by founder and CEO Shawn Riegsecker, the company’s software helps firms organize and automate their digital media campaigns.
