Recruiting FAQs

Can’t wait to see what’s next? Here are some frequently asked questions about our recruiting process. 

Most interviews follow the standard process shown above: a recruiter phone call and hiring manager interview, followed by a team interview. Based on the role or department, there may be additional steps such as a skill-based assessment, coding exercise, or a presentation—expect your recruiter to provide a detailed preview of the interview process for the role in consideration. All Basis Technologies employees are currently working remotely, therefore, the interview process will be virtual through Microsoft Teams. The goal of all of our interviews is to get to know you and allow you to get to know Basis Technologies! No riddles, trick questions, or unnecessary stress!

Part of Basis Technologies’ people philosophy is to “hire slow.” We’re trying to find the best fit for our teams and for you. We’d love to give you a specific timeline, but the truth is, we can’t. We can promise that no matter what, you will hear back from us with a decision regarding your application. We know that waiting is hard, so thank you in advance for your patience.
